thank you for your interest in the product owner role in hepsiburada. in this round of the
interview process, we want to understand how you approach product problems and articulate
your thoughts. you can use any means you prefer to document your thinking and present your
tasks.
background
currently, hepsipay product team consists of three main scrum teams - and many side scrum
teams. the teams are focused on the following areas:
● online payment and shopping experience for both shoppers and sellers
● financial technology solutions - wallet and alternative payments
task 1 : hepsipay improvements
details:
hepsipay is an embedded wallet solution which serves on hepsiburada platform. in basic, it is a
solution which enables users to top up and pay.
your tasks:
review hepsipay cüzdanım solution and touch points on whole hepsiburada journey
1. compare it with at least two different digital platforms.
2. identify the feature(s) which are missing
3. select one of these features that you would like to implement and detail it as below
● define mvp scope and milestones, map your mvp to the feature
● draw flow charts (if applicable)
● draw mockup (if applicable)
● define use cases and write user stories according to agile methodology
● elaborate one of the use cases
○ description (business and technical details)
○ writing acceptance criterias
○ assumptions & dependencies (if any)
● define success criteria for the feature.
● determine potential risks or possible negative impacts of the solution to be
implemented
task 2 : requirement analysis

hepsipay cüzdanım is a wallet solution which has a closed loop loyalty program named
hepsipapel.
● customers can earn hepsipapel over their purchases on hepsiburada, hepsiexpress,
hepsifly
● customers can redeem hepsipapel on their hepsipay cüzdanım purchases in
hepsiburada.
● hepsipapel is available on all subsidiaries (hepsiexpress, hepsifly, etc.) and categories,
brands, merchants, skus
we want to bring in a new capability on the hepsipapel loyalty program : “papels will be
redeemed x times worthier on specific purchases”
your tasks:
1. list your questions for this new feature requirement
2. list all possible use cases and scenarios for checkout, after buy and refund journey
note: to define the use cases, you can make assumptions for your questions
task 3 : process evaluation
describe a project which you followed end-to-end and analyzed all its processes but it failed.
why did it fail? what could be done to complete it successfully?

● to be created and shared in a digital format of your choice
● supported by a reference if any
● it must be your own authorship, only reference other people’s articles, ideas or concepts
